Digital Identity & Trust

VISION EXPLORED BY

Digital Identity & e-Government

In cyberspace, the first question is always the same: who are we interacting with?

Digital identity is not a card on a phone. It is trust infrastructure.

WHY THIS FUTURE MATTERS

Too often, proving one fact requires surrendering many others.

Digital services need confidence about identity, age, authority, status or eligibility. But trust should not require people to repeatedly expose complete identity records or lose control over how their information is reused.

WHAT WE ARE EXPLORING

Move from giving data to proving facts.

We explore identity architectures that can establish trust with less unnecessary disclosure: proving enough for a transaction or public service while preserving stronger control, provenance and accountability.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Selective disclosure

A service should receive the fact it needs whenever possible, not automatically the complete identity record behind that fact.

Trust without surveillance

Identity infrastructure should make legitimate interactions safer without turning every interaction into a mechanism for tracking the individual.

Inclusion requires recovery

A trusted identity system must consider people who lose credentials, change circumstances or cannot rely on a single device or channel.

Sovereignty and interoperability

Control over identity infrastructure matters, but so does the ability for trusted credentials and facts to work across legitimate systems and services.

PART OF A LARGER SYSTEM

Finance carries value. Identity carries trust. Cybersecurity protects the conditions under which both can move.

WHAT PROGRESS SHOULD CREATE

Prove enough to create trust. Share only what is necessary.

WHERE THIS VENTURE STANDS TODAY

Status: Under validation

NSB documentation includes a detailed national identity reference decision dossier covering identity records, identifiers, official titles, controlled biometrics, lifecycle events and provenance. This supports strategic design capability, not a government mandate or deployed national system.

What we can state today

  • ●Trusted identity reference architecture
  • ●Identifiers and official-title interoperability
  • ●Secure digital public-service architecture
  • ●Strategic GovTech design capability

What remains withheld until evidence

  • —Official government mandate
  • —National identity platform deployment
  • —NIN/NUI or credential issuance by NSB
  • —Live sovereign-system connections
  • —Production biometric enrollment or database operations

Evidence discipline

This venture remains under validation. Evidence references are governed internally and do not automatically authorize traction, deployment, customer, regulatory or mandate claims.

Build trust without sacrificing control.
